I am the Director at The Growing Years in Clayton. I studied Early Childhood Development because I love watching and setting the stage for children to learn and explore the world in a hands-on approach. One of the many reasons is that eighty-five percent of children’s intellectual development is in place by age three. It’s amazing and exciting to know that we can play an integral role in their brain development!! I taught preschool for thirteen years and was blessed to be able to participate within the community during Special Olympics for a few years. I have been the School Director at TGY since 2012. I have a daughter named McKenzie. She is the love of my life!
